Debt Reduction Campaign
Unity Presbyterian Church launched a three-year debt reduction campaign in 2017 to attempt to pay off our $1.6 million debt still owed on the sanctuary and fellowship hall that was built in 2005. Our vision is that we can go BEYOND our mortgage to ministries that transform lives – ministries of love and caring for all and that bring us closer to God’s plan for Unity.
We asked everyone to dream about making a greater impact on people’s lives as we move forward, imagine new and exciting ministries, look toward the future, and listen to God’s call. The response was tremendous – as of March 31, 2019 we have:
- Commitments totaling over $809,700
- Received over $679,500
- Made $515,893 in principal payments to reduce our loan to $1.07 million
- Saved $93,000 in interest
Please let us know if you want to make a pledge or increase your pledge to help further pay down this loan.
