What may be most striking about the folks at Unity is that they are themselves. No one style describes us. Sunday morning will find some wearing coats and ties sitting comfortably next to others in work pants or blue jeans, all laughing or singing or praying quietly together.

And we love to get together. Sunday school and worship, of course. But also, cook-outs, ice cream socials, reading stories, watching movies, going to baseball games, doing crafts, going on retreats, youth and children’s events of all kinds. We give thanks to God for our fellowship and do not take it for granted.

We watch out for each other as well. No one of us in time of trouble faces it alone. No one of us lies in the hospital with only the television to keep us company. We are quite intentional about our care for each other and take to heart Jesus’ call to visit, to comfort, and to heal.

Finally, we are a busy church. Read our e-news and you will see it stuffed with events, activities, and opportunities for service. Also check out the Unity Church History and see how God has faithfully led us since 1764.
