Our mission: to know, love, and serve God, each other, and the world.
WE ARE WELCOMING – The first thing you may notice as you walk through our doors is that we are genuinely happy you are here. We love to get together, and we encourage new people to join us in our worship and events. No one style describes us as you will find conservative beside liberal, old sitting with young, those wearing coats and ties mingling with those in jeans. For more information, visit the new here page or read more about our worship.
WE ARE CARING – We watch out for each other. No one in this congregation faces trouble alone. No one goes without visits if they make their wishes for company known. We are intentional about our care for each other and take to heart Jesus’ call to visit, comfort, and heal.
WE ARE DISCIPLES – We are followers of Jesus Christ and want to share the goodness we have received with others. We recognize that God has endowed each of us with specific gifts, and we celebrate the gifts of others as we share our own. We have amazing artists and musicians, craftsmen and builders, and also those who use their ability to listen, and care, and cook, and organize, and love.
Our time spent together is important to us, whether we are eating together, worshiping together, working together, or learning together. Our men and women have groups specifically targeted to their needs on Wednesday mornings; our Bible study on Tuesday night digs deeper into the word; our Seekers Sunday School Class explores questions and answers that may be found in different places; and our Presbyterian women meet once a month for study and fellowship.
And the health of our congregation is important. We have health care professionals in the congregation who work to bring you blood drives and health screenings; blood pressure checks and speakers on topics of interest. They also offer weekly yoga classes on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:00am.
